One indicator of your success as a PM is if the team looks to you for vision, strategy and direction as often as they do for conflict resolution.

If the team only looks to you for conflict resolution, you’re acting like a parent to teenagers. You serve no other purpose. And remember, teenagers secretly hate their parents.
