When handling conflicting priorities, identify which features are adding to the “what” of your product. The what here signifies the raisons d’être – the challenges that your product solves or simplifies. The how is homes in on the way your product is perceived or used. Your how can keep changing – adopting to changes in user interactions. But your what shouldn’t change unless you’re massively pivoting.
