Avoid conversations where the speaker is switching constantly from specific to general, especially when you counter each step. Very good chance that the speaker doesn’t have clarity.
Thoughts on the PTOTD
I’ve found that most speakers try to identify a solution while talking out loud. Not wrong – but since it’s being thought out as they speak and no pre-work is done, you’re at a disadvantage, especially if you’ve invested time in thinking about the solution.
Avoid those conversation.
